Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Feast Day on 16th July

O most beautiful flower of Mt. Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. O Star of the Sea, help me and show me you are my Mother. O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in this necessity (make request). There are none that can withstand your power. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother I place this cause in your hands. Amen.

Fathers Day

“If a person cannot find anyone to teach him how to pray, let him take this glorious saint for his guide, and he will not lose his way.” — St. Teresa of Avila referring to St. Joseph

St. Joseph, patron saint of fathers, please pray for us!

Sacred Heart

“Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, of its very nature, is a worship of the love with which God, through Jesus, loved us, and at the same time, an exercise of our own love by which we are related to God and to other men.” – Pope Pius XII

First Communion Gifts

Our First Communion time is nearly over in the Diocese of Salford, but we do still have a range of cards and gifts in stock. Hurry before stocks sell out!

We also have a small range of Confirmation gifts to buy online or in store.

O Sacred Heart

June is the month in which we make special prayer and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, remembering the way in which Our Lord appeared to St. Margaret Mary.

O God,

Who dost deign mercifully to bestow upon us infinite treasures of love in the Heart of Thy Son,

which was wounded for our sins;

grant, we beseech Thee, that we who pay Him the devout homage of our piety

may in like manner show unto Thee our due of worthy satisfaction.

Through the same Christ, our Lord,

Amen.
